About Breathwork Alive!
Do you forget that you can breathe right now? “You can take a breath” is a cue to add consciousness to something you’re already doing. Breathing becomes Breathwork when one adds attention and energy to it; in turn connecting ourselves to our “bodies”— physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual— all through the action of breath. This intention and action activates healing, expansion, and wellness, which will be what the experience is about.

The experience
As a group, we’ll be practicing active breathing through, firstly, awareness. From that initial process — layering a series of curated breathing patterns, body movements, tactile sensations, reflexology, and even visualisation — we deepen the practice further.

Depending on the intensity and each individual’s physical or inner needs, one may experience different bodily sensations, hyper-oxygenation, even discomfort or euphoria as the body starts to address issues within itself. One may find emotional release when one starts to let go of the mind and starts being heart-centred. Or simply, one would find this to have been the only time during a busy week to rest in its truest sense.

You are encouraged to go at your own pace, there is no need to force oneself to keep up. In fact —through the attempt itself — one will already receive the benefits of this amazing practice.

The Why
If you’re feeling anxious or physically run-down, you can take a breath. If you’re feeling disconnected from others, from your own life, or your understanding of the Universe, you can take a breath. Every moment, good or bad, you can take a breath. It connects to our inner light, to our creativity, to our ability to heal ourselves and others. It allows us to process our emotions in a healthy way, increase our focus, improve circulation, kickstart our immune system, and work the muscles that allows to breathe in the first place. In particular, the facilitator will be working energetically and through tactile placements to catalyse many of these processes. Many have come out of the experience feeling transformed, or have picked up the tools to regulate and heal themselves as they move forward. If you live, you can breathe.

Who this is for, and how to prepare

Responses from past participants
“I haven’t had to use my inhaler ever since our session. Thank you Eugene” - Aarashi Kumaran

“Um ok first of all just calling it Breathwork is the understatement of the century!!! I really enjoyed the flow of the class, it felt structured and was easy to follow + I also learned how to do a few things which was nice. I found the way you led the class both calming and empowering for me.  Starting off with the guided meditation was beautiful.  It calmed me down and helped me to feel safe in the space with you.” - Shriveena

“Eugene, my heartfelt gratitude & thanks for the most healing session today. It actually brought back a wonderful memory despite the counter reaction of crying 😂 so so grateful.” - Amelia Bones
